ECHO & Daredevil Story Details Revealed including Punisher & Kingpin

The series will go from the past to the present, according to a source close to GVN. The story will center on Maya going back to her birthplace to see her friends and relatives, but when she and Kingpin arrive, old adversaries resurface and start hunting for them.

The Black Knife Cartel, which seeks retribution against both Echo and Kingpin, will be the series' antagonists. Kingpin and Maya come together to defeat a shared foe. Teodor Zarco, a vicious drug lord, was the head of the Black Knife Cartel in the comics.

Additionally, a flashback will show how Maya lost her mother in a vehicle accident, leaving her daughter with just one leg. Two episodes will feature Charlie Cox reprising his role as Matt Murdock, a.k.a. Daredevil. One of the flashbacks will demonstrate how Matt and Maya originally came to know one another. The red outfit Charlie Cox initially appeared in during the Netflix series will be worn again.
