Batgirl Directors Are Meeting With James Gunn over Batgirl

The $90 million Batgirl film was canceled during post-production, but the project's directors aren't bitter, saying they're open to returning to the DC film universe and even have a meeting scheduled with new DC boss James Gunn.

The Hollywood Reporter spoke with directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah about the canceled film and their future plans. "Yeah, we'd still work with them," Fallah said when asked if they would work with WB Discovery again. "However, only if the film is released. I mean, if Warner asks, "Do you want to do the next Batman or Superman?" we'll obviously say yes. Just as long as the film is released!" Fallah elaborated.
