Daredevil Born to Feature Less Gore & Violence
Charlie Cox is finally preparing to put on the Cowl once again in his own MCU project with the 18-episode Disney+ series "Daredevil: Born Again," after making his MCU-approved Matt Murdock/Daredevil debut in "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law" over the summer. The actor assured NME that he will spend almost the entire year 2023 filming the Marvel project.
They informed me that "we're going to be filming in 2023," Cox recalled. I responded, "Great, when? They responded, "All 2023." I begin filming in February, and I wrap up in December.
“My opinion is this character works best when he’s geared towards a slightly more mature audience,” Cox told NME. “My instinct is that on Disney+ it will be dark but it probably won’t be as gory. I would say to [people hoping the Disney+ show copies the Netflix show], we’ve done that. Let’s take the things that really worked, but can we broaden? Can we appeal to a slightly younger audience without losing what we’ve learned about what works?”
