Daredevil Born Again will be R-Rated Reportedly

According to a new report, Daredevil: Born Again will not only feature the star of Netflix's Daredevil, but also an R-rated rating. The MCU series will premiere on Disney+ in Spring of 2024, with Charlie Cox reprising his Marvel role as Matt Murdock/Daredevil.

Since Daredevil's cancellation, Cox's Man Without Fear has appeared in two MCU projects, bringing a different, more comedic tone than fans of the character are used to. This has prompted speculation about whether the Hell's Kitchen hero will maintain his signature mature setting in his solo series Daredevil: Born Again and amplified worries that this might be more comedic like his recent Appearance in She-Hulk.

Disney CEO Bob Chapek has hinted that R-rated content would be added to the MCU as a result of the "elasticity" afforded by their streaming platform, and the first of these has already been announced as Marvel Zombies.
