Disney and Marvel Studios Black Panther Wakanda Forever had the tenth-highest opening day of all time with $84 million. Opening weekend range is between $175M-$185M now. However, some competitors believe that the film directed by Ryan Coogler could surpass $190 million. Why is this event difficult to predict for many? Veterans Day falls on a Friday this year and it is believed this helped the film. Excluding previews, Friday earned $56M, surpassing Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness' first Friday without previews, which earned $54.7M. If today performs similarly to yesterday, Wakanda Forever will gross $179 million.
