Black Panther was almost a FOX Film
In the late 90s Marvel found themselves in a bad position and needed to sell various characters to different film studios to keep alive, Sony got Spider-Man & Ghost Rider & Iron Man, FOX got the X-Men & Fantastic Four and so forth but a interesting piece of news recently hit that revealed that FOX almost made a Black Panther film
"The Columbia Pictures Spider-Man films would become nothing less than Sony's all-time biggest franchise," the article explains. "But there were plenty of non-starters, too: Black Panther was going to be a Fox film, Iron Man was set up at Sony, a Doctor Strange project came and went, as did a dozen other Marvel projects."
as Fate would have it nothing would happen with Black Panther (Thank God) until Marvel Studios would gain his rights back and put a Easter Egg in IRon Man 2 with a promise of the character coming soon.
