DC Studios Developing A HUMAN TARGET Project

DC Studios Developing A HUMAN TARGET Project

That's exciting for fans, because FilmFront reported a Human Target TV series is in development.

Since 2024, comic book writer Tom King, who is writing Lanterns and inspired Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, has been working on the projects. He'll write Human Target, and a showrunner and lead star are being sought. Expect Gunn and Peter Safran to executive produce.

In 2010, Warner Bros. launched Human Target, starring Mark Valley as Christopher Chance. That aired 25 episodes over two seasons on Fox, and Wil Traval played the character in a 2016 Arrow episode. Rick Springfield played Chance in a 1992 TV series before both. Len Wein and Carmine Infantino developed the character in Action Comics #419, 1972. Christopher Chance, the first Human Target, is a superb impersonator and bodyguard who impersonates assassins.

We're shocked DC Studios returned to this well, but enough time has elapsed for the Human Target to return. This is another character King has revamped recently, which helps.
