Daredevil Production Update, Main Villain & Release Update
Marvel executives reportedly reviewed some footage from the show during the recent Hollywood strikes and decided that a "significant creative reboot" was in order. Head writers Chris Ord and Matt Corman, along with directors for the remaining episodes, were let go, and Kevin Feige is said to have signed off on a pretty major course-change. Late last year, we learned that Marvel Studios had decided to start over with Daredevil: Born Again by scrapping the original premise.
Vincent D'Onofrio, who plays Wilson Fisk in Comic Book Central, stated in an interview that filming will restart "not long from now... in a few weeks, in fact." He also mentioned that Born Again will have a tone that is comparable to the Netflix Daredevil series.
Related news (well, rumor) has it that insiders claiming that Muse is still scheduled to be the show is primary antagonist. The serial killer has been mentioned as the show is principal antagonist before, but we had heard that important details—even whole plotlines—from the show is original run would probably be dropped.
