Deadpool 3 Director Addresses Taylor Swift Rumors

The current release date for Deadpool 3 is May 3, 2024, but it appears that the protracted production halt brought on by the WGA and ongoing SAG-AFTRA strikes may have put that date in doubt.

The filmmaker was asked about the rumor/speculation that Taylor Swift will appear in the movie as Dazzler, which recently intensified when the pop megastar was spotted at the Kansas City Chiefs versus New York Jets game with Levy. Levy revealed to The Wrap that they have now shot and edited half the movie and is ready to resume production as soon as the actors' strike is resolved.

“I’m going across the board. ‘No comment’ because that’s a double whammy. That’s Taylor-related. And it’s MCU-related. I’m no dummy. You’re going to have to wait and see.”
