Armor Wars Disney+ Series Canceled in favor of Film Treatment

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Marvel Studios has changed its development plans for Don Cheadle's Armor Wars.

Armor Wars is being developed as a feature film rather than a streaming series for Disney+, though a release date has yet to be confirmed. This will be Cheadle's first time starring in an MCU film. According to the outlet's sources, the studio was committed to "getting the story told the right way," realizing that a theatrical feature was better suited for the project, and informed production members of the new plan on Thursday.
