Deadpool 3 First Plot Details Reveal MCU Setting & Plot

Although no official release date has been set, Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool 3 is becoming one of the most anticipated films on Marvel Studios slate. Even though narrative specifics are being kept under wraps and the cast is still being finalized, fans are already thrilled to see the Merc with a Mouth in the same world as the Avengers.

Deadpool 3 writer Rhett Reese offered the first details on Ryan Reynolds' first MCU film on BroBible's Post-Credit Podcast.

While no specifics were disclosed, Reese hinted that this would be a "fish out of water" scenario for Reynolds' Wade Wilson. He mentioned how Deadpool is seen as a "lunatic" in an otherwise regular environment that is the MCU

“It’s a wonderful opportunity for fish-out-of-water. Deadpool is a lunatic at the center of a movie. To drop a lunatic into a very sane world, it’s straight butter. It’s going to be really fun.”
